We will hear from John Wasta, District 5970's Foundation Committee Chair. It's a treat to hear from him. Exciting changes are coming! Don’t miss out on hearing what’s coming up at our next meeting on Wednesday, November 16th at 5:30pm.

We have an immediate opening for a Treasurer as well as President-Elect for 2023-24. Please see Ellen Humphrey or email her with nominations for these positions. 

HEADSHOTS

Rotarian Teresa Tjaden will be taking headshots of Rotary members on November 16th. She will be available 30 minutes before (5:00-5:30 pm) and 30 minutes after (6:30-7:00 pm) our meeting to take the headshots. 

 

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Ringing Rotarians! 

Help us help the Salvation Army with their Kettle Campaign!  This is the 5th Wednesday of November!  Show your support for our community by joining us to ring a bell, share compassion and greet shoppers!  There are two locations: Hy-Vee on San Marnan and Walmart (2 doors) on San Marnan.  We'll spread out and jingle away, then meet up after for more fun networking and libations (Dad's Pub or location TBD)! Sign up here!

 

Santa for a Senior Caroling Bus

Sign up here and join us for the most fun and meaningful service project for our club!  Bring your beverage of choice, snacks to share (optional), dress "Christmassy," and be prepared to sing!  You'll make the holiday season a little brighter for select area senior shut-ins.  Due to the presence of alcohol, having children on the bus is discouraged; however, feel free to drive your car and follow the bus if desired!  If you are able, a $20 donation per person toward the bus and tip is appreciated.  Don't miss the service project everyone will be talking about!

If you're able to join us, please be there by 11:45 a.m.  The bus will leave at noon on December 3rd!

Time: 11:45am - 4:00pm CST

Location: Parking Lot Across from Viking Pump, on 4th St, Downtown Cedar Falls
