DINE OUT TO END POLIO

Last week, we gathered at the Cedar Falls Brown Bottle for our Dine Out to End Polio Party and 50/50 Raffle. The turnout was great and everyone had a good time! We thank the Cedar Falls Brown Bottle and owner Jim Landau for supporting our efforts to end polio by sponsoring $500.

POLIO 50/50 RAFFLE WINNER

Congratulations to Jim Schommer - President of Warren Transport who was our Polio 50/50 Raffle winner this year! After properly showing off his winnings at work… he has donated it all back to polio. We thank him for this great gesture! Additionally, because he gave all of the money back to help our end polio fund, after all matches, we raised $15k for polio. Thank you to all who bought a ticket and joined us for dinner at The Brown Bottle Cedar Falls, your gifts are helping us end polio together through Rotary!

Steve Husome of the Husome Strong Foundation will be coming to talk to us!

BOARD MEETING

There will be a Rotary Board meeting held after our regular meeting this Wednesday. Board meeting starts at 6:30.

HEADSHOTS

Rotarian Teresa Tjaden will be taking headshots of Rotary members on November 16th. She will be available 30 minutes before (5:00-5:30 pm) and 30 minutes after (6:30-7:00 pm) our meeting to take the headshots.
