This week, we will hear from the Iowa National Guard about their volunteerism efforts.
 
50/50 POLIO RAFFLE
 
If you haven't already picked up tickets to sell for the 50/50 Raffle to End Polio, please do so at the October 18th meeting! Tickets and cash are due before/by the afternoon of October 25th as the drawing will be held at the Dine Out to End Polio Event at the Cedar Falls Brown Bottle that evening.
 
DINE OUT TO END POLIO
 
Please join us at the Cedar Falls Brown Bottle for our 4th Wednesday End Polio Now celebration dinner!  Please RSVP if you are able to attend!  Having a headcount will help us know how to set up the room.  Enjoy dinner and drinks, at your preference and expense. Meal is optional.  We'll also draw the winner of the 50/50 raffle!  We hope you can make it for this fun night!

Kevin Taylor, and his army unit (Fox Company 2/377th Rgt.) are participating in the annual Des Moines Army Ruck March Donation this fall.  Fox company 2/377th Rgt. conducts an annual Ruck March where individual donations are stuffed into their rucksacks and marched to the shelter for drop off.

Winter Needs: Coats, Hats, Gloves, Hand Warmers, Cough Drops

New or gently used clothes that can be worn for job interviews

Travel-size Shampoo, Deodorant, Disposable Razors, Towels

New Underwear (in various sizes), Men's New or Gently Used Pants, Shoes, & Socks

Shower Sandals, Tissue Packs, Antacid, Tylenol/Advil, 3 oz. Disposable Cups

 
 
UPDATED MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
 
To become a member of our club, you are now only required to attend two meetings and participate in a service project.

Let's continue to achieve Every Rotarian Every Year status.
